A big thank you to all of you who gave to me advice when searching for WURTEMBERGER
The story so far is that it was G Grandfather WURTEMBERGER that came to England from Germany, he had a son Henry Charles who was born in England. Henry Charles opened a shop (believed in Bow), during WW1 he was attacked & the shop destroyed by a mob who took a dislike to the name so he changed his name to DAVEY and moved to Buckhurst Hill/Chigwell area where he set up business as a seed merchant. He eventually sold the business and retired to Saffron Walden where he died. He is buried in Saffron Walden Cemetery as Henry Charles DAVEY. I tried to find the grave but without success, it being a Sunday the office was closed so there was no one to ask.
