I have this to say:
I joined this list for the invaluable information that it contains, for the
helpfulness of the majority of it members, I for one left school many years
ago, and the message below reminds me of that from a 'superior'
schoolmaster.

I think we are all adult, most of us do this for a hobby, most of us like a
little light heartedness now and again. Some of our cousins from overseas
like to know of bygone traditions, and sometimes this may lead to a little
sillyness. We all have delete buttons should we wish to use them!

If this is the gestapo way that this list will be run from now on, than I
suggest that you UNSUBSCRIBE me, and I offer my thanks for all the members
that have helped in the past, as I shall miss you all.

I think this time ELMO you have pushed your authority a little too far
