Hi Noeline

I've tried looking in the online Romford Directory of 1919. There is only one pub in Chadwell Heath there - The White Horse Hotel kept by Edward George Wade. There are Warmans in Romford at the time

I have old letters from the family dated 1915 and on. In the lounge bar there is upon the top of the walls right around is brass ships that mt g.grandfather left with the Pub.. The only difference in that pub today is they have enclosed the front in with windows now and also i suppose bought the toilet inside. I hope to go oneday and have a look at it.
