Greetings

Am a new member and need help with some background information. I realize
its not Essex related, but maybe someone in the group will have the knowledge.

I have a relative who lived and died (1954) at Claybury Hospital in North
London, I was given to understand that it was a TB hospital, but am
wondering if it wasn't a mental hospital or an institution for the mentally
challenged. Would appreciate any insights anyone could give me.
