Hello Maree
Woodham Ferrers is north of the River Crouch about half way
between Southend-on-Sea and Chelmsford (as the crow flies). Woodham Ferrers
is actually just north of South Woodham Ferrers (now a big town) on the
B1418. It is about 12 miles east (toward the North Sea) from S. Woodham
Ferrers to Burnham on Crouch or to Southminster. Danbury is 4-5miles North.
