welcome to "RIP OFF UK" Anne, this is big news at present with regard to new
car prices, but the plain truth is all over this once great country we are
being ripped off. I for one will seek out many different suppliers and go
for the best, not only the cheapest. We also buy "on line" from the states,
when the tax man has added import duty etc., it is still at least 20%
cheaper.

footnote: we also decided some years back to retire abroad somewhere, not
just for the sun, but also for reasonable prices. that day is some way off I
am afraid.
