Hi,

My name is Jane Neumann and I am new to this list. I
was hoping that someone may have information on the
ROLWEN family that lived in Gt Clacton. I have seen
the Parish Register for Gt Clacton and of the 12
children born to David and Hannah/Annabelle(DOVE?)
ROWLEN only 4 sons appear to have survived into
adulthood. They were John b1840, George b1842,
Emmanuel b1845 (my gggrandfather) and Charles Henry.
The surname was variously spelt as Rowland, Rowling
and Rowlen.
Does any on know if it is possible to see the marriage
records of the Parish Church of Gt Clacton? On the
film that I got from the LDS they only go up to 1836.
Is the Parish church at Gt Clacton called St John the
Baptist?
