My grandfather, Frederic James RANSOM was born in 1865 in
London but I believe that his family could have come from Essex.
His parents were Frederic James RANSOM Snr. born c1840, son
of Robert RANSOM, plumber and Elizabeth Mary TOMLIN,
born c1836, daughter of James TOMLIN and Elizabeth Mary
WINYARD. This is all that I know about them to date. Can anyone
help me to find out more?
