I cannot help but suggest that it is a terrible invasion of privacy
to use the internet to search for members of the family who have been
adopted out. The woman involved in this enquiry is now 65 years of age
& undoubtedly is a mother & grandmother. Surely, it cannot be right to
reveal the circumstances of her birth & subsequent adoption on the
internet. Surely, she & her children & grandchildren are entitled to
their privacy. Surely, her right to privacy should be respected - even
by those who are desperately searching for her. Surely, enquiries like
this should be conducted in private.
