Belatedly catching up on my e-mails, I saw Joan's request for information on
Mayfield College. Assuming it's the one in Sussex, I might be able to help,
as my in-laws live in Mayfield. Are you after anything in particular?

Dear Joan,
When my 2nd ggfather, John SMITH was injuired from a fall washing windows,
he was taken a short distance to the Middlesex Hospital, where he died. It
was recorded on his death certificate that an inquest had been held. I was
able to get a researcher to find the inquest and copy parts of it for me.
