There is a Barnard BECKETT in my family tree - married 1770 in Kent.
Before this date he is a mystery! I am moving to the theory that his
first name comes from a family surname and that he moved into Kent from
elsewhere - please! has anyone come across a Barnard BECKETT in their
genealogical travels?
