Hi there everyone

I am looking for my grandmother whose name was Winifred Ford, she was a
draper's Buyer around 1936.
She gave birth to my mother on 2nd August 1936 at Lansdown House,
Churchfields, Broxbourne, Hoddesdon, father un-named.
I know this is not in Essex but she may have travelled to give birth.
I have been looking for anyone researching Ford's but there doesn't seem
too many of them out there.
If anyone has any ideas or info on this I would be very happy to hear from
you.
