Hi!
Are you, or have you ever been a member of the Layzell family of Essex?
Do you have connections to the Brightlingsea area?
If so, I'd love to hear from you.
I don't have too much information on this name, but I do know that Mary
Layzell (the daughter of James and Mary Layzell) was born in Brightlingsea
in 1833.
She was married to Henry Peacock Pullen in St. Dunstan's Church in Stepney
in 1855 and lived out her days in Wivenhoe, producing many Pullens, some of
which came to Canada (I am referred to by the remaining Essex relatives as
"Generation Four", meaning four generations have passed since leaving England).
Any info on this surname in Essex is very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
