I am researching John and Laura Ernest who lived in Putnam County, Ohio. John was born in 1863 to Henry and Catharine Ernest. They lived in Hancock County, Ohio. He married Laura Haddox there on Jan 31, 1886. John died in Putnam County in 1927 and Laura in 1924. They are buried in Sugar Creek Cemetery in Leipsic, Ohio. They had children: Essie, Earl, Roy, Clifford, Archie, Carl & Edith on the 1910 census of Putnam County, Blanchard Twp. Earl Ernest is my daughter's great great grandfather. I have some info on the Haddox family from which Laura came who lived in Hancock County, Ohio. Her parents were Samuel and Elizabeth Haddox (also spelled Haddock). John's parents Henry and Catharine were in the 1880 census of Putnam County and are also buried in Sugar Creek Cemetery. Which child of John and Laura are you looking for?
