Hi all
Having discovered that my third cousin once removed was a film star I am keen to find out as much as I can about him! Leslie Fuller was born c1889 in Mile End, the son of Albert Fuller and Amelia Lepley. His birth name was also Albert.
Between 1930 and 1945 he appeared in lots of films made at Elstree Studios and actually was the star of many of them - you can tell why I am impressed by this connection!
Leslie also appeared in a summer season at the Clifton Concert Hall in Margate for many years and married Nancy Bates, an actress he met on set of the film The Pride of the Force.
Leslie died in 1948 in Margate.
