I concur with Ian's comments. I recovered the will of my 4xGGrandfather who
died in 1831, earlier this year using the SOG/English Origins website. It
proved a great source of information. This was just after English Origins
had apparently copied the documents from the B of E.

Whilst I guess most of us are unlikely to discover a family link in this
particular archive, nevertheless you have presented us with a topic of great
interest. It is particularly pleasing that the Bank, with all its present
preoccupations (as ever), remains committed to maintaining the archives and
encouraging accessibility.
