Subject: Result for Y-DNA PROJECT
Date: Wed, 8 Sep 2004 16:10:03 -0500

Hello, Folks,

We have received another Y-DNA result. I have posted the second result, and
am awaiting information and waiver from the first participant.

We cannot do any comparisons yet to determine which is the real DNA line
from Carel Enjart. As of right now, if both our participants (and we only
had the two so far) are declaring to be descended from Carel, then one of
them or both of them are NOT.

At this time, we need more male
ENYART/ENYEART/INYARD/INYART/ENYARD/ENGARD/etc. participants of different
branches who would be willing to help with this project. Only by comparing
DNA & historical lineage information can one begin to separate the families
who may carry the same surname, but of an entirely different common
ancestor. We also know that adoptions, a child taking a mother's maiden
name, someone assuming an alias, the early time period of surname adoption,
the fracturing of surnames down through time, and other significant events
have not made it easy for researchers. This is the first known authentic
way of determining whether one is a descendant of a common ancestor.
And...only by comparing family history can one determine which common
ancestor that may be.

To access the RESULTS go to our ENYART, etc. Project Homepage and click on
the RESULTS link at the left.

Perhaps two or more in a family could go together to sponsor a participant.
