Bertha Poston was William E. Wessarges's sister. They had 2 other sisters: Anna Wessarges Valentine Hebbler and Marie Martha Wessarges Bowles Krueger (my maternal grandmother) - all now deceased, fortunately after long happy lives. There were also two brothers, Ludwig (died as a toddler - fell into a barrel of pig slop and drowned) and Freddy (handicapped - died as a teen from appendicitis). Was your grandmother Coylee (sp?) - if so, I remember her as very nice with a great sense of humor. And, I think the Wessarges reunions are the ones we've had at a park near Tomball, usually organized by Marie's daughters: Beverly Jean Bowles Anderson, Lola Mae Bowles Grenwelge and Doris Del Bowles Hendricks (my mother). If there is another group of Wessarges, please let me know.
