I went to one of the "Focus" [which, as this is a Family List, I won't give
its true name] Groups a couple of years ago where "discussion" was the
buzz-word concerning the 1901.

I left, knowing that the whole thing had been stitched-up before I'd got
there. The Techno-Geeks had done the Usual Lunching of the
Techno-Illiterates - and it was going to be The Old Old Story.

*WE* are going to do what *YOU* don't want...

And it won't work anyway. (And if by mischance it does, it'll be - very -
late. And way over-budget.)

Remember the computerisation of:
The Stock Exchange
The Inland Revenue
The DSS
The Child Protection Service
*Any* Housing Benefit system
The International Air-Booking System
Etc...

No, I'm not bitter. Nor am I surprised.
