Dear Linda,
Yes, Isle of Wight, Ventnor. I have just had confirmation from Bill
and have confirmed we have a match for the whole family of Clement Dear
one. Clement Dear 2, i.e. Clement Francis Dear is not on the 1861
census and must have been away from home when it was taken and there
was a younger brother, James Richard who was not born until 1871, ten
years after that census was taken.
