Hi Lorraine,

The Warwickshire Ancestors Project has 3 census years undergoing transcription, the 1841, '61 and '91. If you go to the hunimex site in my signature block you will find that a lot of the '41 and '91 pieces have already been completed, uploaded and are searchable. The 1861 is still under transcription.

The 1851 (on CD) and the 1881 (on the LDS site and CD) have already been transcribed.

The censuses are not in alphabetical order but are written down as the enumerator reached each house in a street of his given area. So it is a good idea to give an idea of which town or village your family lived in and also the years you want searched.

You may be lucky enough to find your family already transcribed. We are trying to get the '41 and '91 finished as fast as possible but our volunteers do have to eat and sleep occasionally <g>.

Happy hunting,

Jeanagh

Dear Marlene,

Have you got as far as Goodman in this project as yet?
I am looking for Sarah Goodman who married my great great great great
grandfather, Richard Dear for whom I have no dates but their first
child - Rev. William Dear must have been born 1804 or earlier because
their second child, James was born in 1805. Subsequent siblings were
Maurice, Richard Edward, Clement, Elizabeth and Henry between 1805 and
1819.

Lorraine.
