Dear All,

I recently received a request to advertise on this List a a new 'living
relatives' site, details of which are given below, if you are interested.

I should like to remind you all that information on this List is confined to
that about those who have been dead for over 20 years, other than personal
disclosure.

Dear Listowner,

I have just launched www.familynotices.org which is a totally non-commercial
& privately-owned site and I hope to attract postings from the past as well
as new social events.

Some Listowners seem to feel that this type of site does not 'settle easily'
with their perception of what their list members want to hear, and I will of
course respect any such views, although in the UK we value information in
the newspaper BDM notices as a useful resource. As this is a new site the
information stored so far is minimal and it will grow with time, but only if
persons participate!

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this, and do please let me
know one way or the other.
