A listing in this record reads

Charles Churchill 17 April 1836 "went to Prison"
No further information

Any one know why?? or where??

also James Adams "went to Taunton May 28th 1826 returned January 21 1827."....Looks like another trip to Prison !


Any one know if any records for Taunton prison survive please?
