Hi All Listers
The Stow List seems to have really perked up while I was away in Norwich! Great news that some people seem to be find some family connections.
I had this message from a visitor to the Stowmarket History & Heritage Site hopefully a future member of this list. I know we have some interest in the name JACOB.
BTW I have been promised a photo of an ICI works do in the early 50's from Terry who provided the photo of the Lockington Road nursery which is now on the Stow web site. I will put this new photo on line ASAP.

There is a Local History Fair this weekend at the Museum of Easy Anglian Life here in Stowmarket, I hope to get there Sunday afternoon, Th SFHS have a stall.

Jacob from Shelland and Rattlesden pre 1816

Any information from your records would be greatly appreciated.

My ancestor Robert Buckle married Mary Jacob in the 18th century. Their daughter, Eliza, married Robert Garland in 1826.
I am particularly interested in any information on the Jacob family of Rattlesden.
