Hi Jean.

Glad that some of my names brought you joy. I was fascinated by your
message, partly because some of my family were members of the Congregational
Church from at least the 1890s to the 1980s, so the names you list are of
great interest to me. Sadly, I can't immediately tell you who Frederick
George WILDEN was. My own connection with WILDEN is that Mary Ann WILDEN
(1826-1907) of Stowupland married my gt gt grandfather, John Dolby DIAPER.
There were certainly many WILDENS in Stowupland in the 19th century, as well
as in Stowmarket, which you will know are an adjoining town and village.
Don't you have access to the 1881 CDROM census index, or other census
returns which might tell you more about Frederick George? I shall save your
e-mail, and consult my own notes and also the memory bank of my father, who
grew up in Stowupland with various WILDENS and may well be able to shed
light for us.

Bye for now, Dudley. (Approx. 30 miles south of Stowmarket at present, and
around 70 Fahrenheit I think.)
