Have just watched a news item on the 1pm BBC news, about a man called
Jackson who has just come over from Australia looking for his family.

He was sent to Australia on an immigration programme, didn't catch the
date - probably 1950s or 1960s. Showed the children arriving on a ship -
again I didn't catch the name but no doubt it will be on the Northern News
again at 6 pm.
