Hello,

I'm researching the family of my great-grandfather. Here's what I have so
far:

Peter ASHTON, born 2 Sep 1853 in Bolton, married Margaret GRATRIX, born 19
Feb 1851 in Swinton, on 13 May 1875 at the Register's Office Barton Upon
Irwell. His occupation was blacksmith. They lived at 34 Rutland Street,
Worsley.

They had nine children that I know of:

Rose Hannah 1878
Clarissa 1879, married Joseph JONES, born about 1884, on 02 Aug 1913 at the
Wesleyan Church, Station Road, Swinton
Fred 1880
Lillian 1883, married John William Agnew, born about 1880, on 04 Sep 1907 at
the Wesleyan Church, Station Road, Swinton
Minnie 1884
William Edwin Aug 1885, died same month
Ernest 1887, married Blanche JEWSBURY, born 1882, on 03 May 1920 at the
Trinity Congregational Church, Swinton
Harry (my grandfather) 26 Jan 1888, married Edith GASKELL, born 03 Jun 1888
in Salford, on 25 Jun 1912 at Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Mary Ann Jul 1889, died 28 Jul 1889 in Swinton.

I would like to add to my picture of my grandfather Harry's siblings and
their families. I know that he and his family returned to the Swinton area
regularly to visit family and on at least one occasion some of his family
visited him here in Toronto - I have an uncaptioned photograph of a couple
of visitors.

I'd appreciate any information or advice that would help me find more about
this family.
