Hi Colin,

Are you one of the folks transcribing Parish Records from Lancashire? About
six months ago I discussed this with another researcher. We are all so
grateful to you who are doing this!! I hope to find the time to contribute one of
these days.

I will check the records as you suggest. I actually think that Alonza could
have been an older sibling of Joshua's . There is an odd baptismal record for
a "Lanelson" Heap, in 1808, son of Mary and Lawrence in Royton. I thought
that this could have been a misreading of the name.
