Yes, IGI shows there is a Registry entry for "Catton near York" that a
Joseph Kirkby was baptised there on 15 September 1834 being the son of
Richard Kirkby and Alisimon. An LDS member submission advises baptism
at "Law Catton" (presumably the family were of Low Catton) and that the
mother was Alisimon Hodgson.
