As this marriage was before 1st July 1837 when civil registration of
marriages came into force it would have taken place in the local parish
church. The information on the parish register will be names of bride and
groom, bridegroom's occupation, marital status of both parties and their
parishes of residence with their signatures and those of witnesses.
