Can anyone help - I've hit a brick wall with my John Peters - any info on the following would be gratefully appreciated:

John Peters born abt 1817 place unknown
Father Edward Peters
John married Mary Ann Pawley on 10 November 1839 at the Parish Church of Halwell. Residence listed as Halwell on their marriage cert.
John died prior to the 1851 census as Mary is listed as a widow.
