I'm new to the list, so thought I'd give a brief introduction.

I'm Jo Autrey and I live in Dallas, Texas. You are cordially invited to

Alma Endsley, b. 1884, Cass Co.Tx.da. of Leander Endsley and Malissa
Elizabeth Easter. M. Elbert Eugene Autrey in 1900 and they had 9 children:
Charles Ellis, 1901; Minnie Elizabeth, 1904; Georgia Ellen, 1906; Morris
Eugene, 1908; Rosa Lena, 1910 (still living); Robert Elvin, 1913; Willie E.,
1915; Christine (still living) 1918; Bertha Edda, 1921 (still living); Jame
E., 1925; David Elbert (still living) 1926. The surviving children still
live in Bowie County, Texas.

Alma had one sister, Minnie Elizabeth, b. 1881, m. bro. of Elbert E. Autrey,
Cisero "Pink" Autrey in 1904 in Bowie Co. and had 5 children: Horace, 1906;
Naomi Arline, 1910; Alma Irene, 1912; Harvey Joay (still living), 1918;
Marvin Roy, 1918. Minnie had two sons by a previous marriage: Alvis
Dickerson, 1904 and Crutis L. Dickerson, 1905.

Alma had two brothers:
Bosie Endsley, b. 1889, m. Maudie Etta Harvey in 1910 in Cass.Co. Tx, and
had 7 children: Robert Eugene, 1911; Edna Pauline, 1913; Elsie Pauline,
1916; Bessie Lucille, 1919; Eartis Oleda, 1922; John Hinton, 1926 (still
living); and Morris Franklin, 1931.

John William Endsley, b. 1888, m. Molly Clara Shasteen (Chastain/Chasteen)
in 1912 in Fannin Co. Tx. and they had 4 children: Alvis Lloyd, 1915; Nora
Ellen, 1920 (still living); Elbert Authur, 1918; Mattie Alice, 1923 (still
living). John moved to Tishomingo, Johnston Co. Okla. and his family
remained Okla. A few of his grandchildren and other desendants live in
various Texas counties.

There is much to be uploaded, so visit often. The only information I have
personally researched is on the above family. The rest of the informaton on
the Endsley family was generously shared with me by a family member in Cass
Co. Until recently, we believe our Endsley line was from Andrew George
Endsley. This is incorrect, as we know from the Cass Co. relative, we
descend from Leander Endsley. His wife's first name is Mary, and while some
think it may be Couch, this has not been proven.
Other corrections will be made as information is supplied.

Raper, and others.
