Welcome to the Endersby list. My name is Julie Fitzgerald and I'm the initial list administrator.

This list is for the benefit of researchers interested in any Endersby anywhere in the world, as well as the families the Endersbys married in to. Even if this list doesn't become very active, it will hopefully be a gateway to meet other researchers and swap information and ideas.

Personally, I am a direct descendant of Robert Endersby and Elizabeth Law. They married in Wrestlingworth, Bedfordshire but their children were baptised in Abbottsley, Huntingdon. One of their granddaughters was Sarah Endersby, who migrated to Australia in 1852. Some of Sarah's siblings and other relatives also migrated to Australia and others went to Canada and eventually the US.

I am interested in all Endersbys any time, any place. For instance, even though I haven't found all the links between those in English counties like Cambridge, Hunts, Bedford and Hertfordshire, I'm hopeful I will one day! There are many out there with similar or overlapping interests and we'd love to hear from you, so I hope you'll write in and introduce yourself and your areas of interest. Even if you don't get much response initially, many people cruise the archives over time and may get in touch with you or the list long after your initial post.
