Hi Joyce

There definitely are a lot of coincidences with the names and also JESSE had
a son Samuel Joseph [my husband's grandfather] born in Mudgee, NSW Australia
in 1865.

Do you know the parents of your Joseph Elston b about 1810?

I have not come across any musicians or artists, Jesse was a butcher and his
son Samuel Joseph was a labourer in the quarries and sadly was killed in the
quarrie in 1920.

Hoping there is a connection.
Cheers.....Joan in NSW, Australia
