This is the URL for a website for rare books. There is a section for Native
American Genealogy with books for a number of different tribes. After you
get to the site go to "Book Lists", then to Native American Genealogy to see
the list. Just out of curiosity, I checked the index for Dr. Emmett Starr's
book, "History of the Cherokee Nation" for the Ellis surname. I was
surprised to find that there were none listed. Especially since there some
on both the Guion-Miller and Dawes rolls. I didn't check to see if any of
the indexes to the other books were available but it still might be a good
site to check out.
