Hi Cathy, I've been doing research for a very long time and have an Ellis
line of my own. It's been nothing but trouble! HA!
I took a quick peek at the 1920 census and I found in Union, Dunklin County,
MO:
Caleb E. Ellis age 66 born in IL. he stated both of his parents were born in
IL
Dora/Cora, age 36 born in AR. She stated both of her parents were born in AR
Dyer, age 12, born in IL
Doris age 10, born in IL
Edgar, age 7, born in IL
Mary J., age 3, born in MO

Also, in the house was Lethia Caliman, age 12, born in AR. She was Caleb's
stepdaughter.
