MARY ELLINGER
OCTOBER 15, 1964
Mrs. John A. (Mary) Ellinger, age 75, died at 10 o'clock Tuesday (October 13) at the El Paso Nursing Home where she had been living for some time.
Stewart Funeral Home, Cullom, is in charge of funeral arrangements with visitation held Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 today (Thursday) at the funeral home and at 2 o'clock at the Charlotte Evangelical Church with the Rev. George York officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Cullom.
Mrs. Ellinger was born in Charlotte Township, June 22, 1889, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Drilling. She attended schools in Charlotte and Cissna Park.
In 1909 she married John A. Ellinger and they farmed southwest of Cullom until he died in April 1961. She lived on the farm near Cullom since her marriage until ill health required hospitalization at Fairbury and then at the nursing home.
Survivors are three sons, Adam and Clarence of rural Cullom, and Earl, Chatsworth; one daughter, Mrs. Virgil (Fern) Hummel of Pontiac, and 3 ggrandchildren; a brother, Frank Drilling, Piper City, and a sister, Mrs. Mabel Bruner, Rantoul.
She was a member of the Charlotte E.U.B. Church.
