I have written before about Peter Eller in Jefferson Co,IL. His Wife Susan died in 1849.
His Daughter Nancy was married to Jacob Leonard , Jacob had children by a first marriage, Jacob & Nancy then had Jacob Leonard, Who my father called Ole Jake. Nancy later married Robert Carpenter. On their Marriage records it states Nancy's parents were Peter Eller and Susanna Lemle.

This is the first real proof I have been able to find. I believe this may be the break in the Brickwall that I have been searching for. All record Seem to have stopped on Peter when he left NC. I know he was in the war of 1812 but can not find where he signed in or mustered out. I did located the area in Mo. that he was give land for his service in the war. It was Carroll Co,MO.
I am trying to remember everyone I have Exchanged E-mail with and let them know.
