Looking for the father of Hugh Eller b. abt 1821 possibly in North Carolina. Hugh W. Eller married Mary Barbara Lippard abt. 1843. probably in North Carolina.

According to St. Martin's Lutheran Church records, Iredell Co., NC Hugh and Barbara had the following children:
Margaret Elizabeth b. Feb. 2, 1844
Mary Melonday b. Sept 27, 1845
Eve Levina b. Dec. 28, 1849
Adam Edford b. July 25, 1853
John Silvannis b. Jan. 31, 1857

I found the Eller family in the 1850 & 1860 Iredell Co., NC Census records. Mary Melonday was not in either census so I am taking it that she died young. The 1860 Census has a Sarah E. Listed as 1 yr of age.

If anyone knows anything about this family I would enjoy comparing notes with you.
