We are so close. Your Jane and Wilkerson's children are all born 1850 abt?
Think abt this...My Mary Eller and her spouse Solomon Shearer had the following
children.. Minerva Jane Shearer
William H. Shearer
George Christian Shearer
Margaret Ann Shearer
Marcellus W. Shearer
and Walter Shearer...
Now consider the names of your Wilkerson Eller and Jane Sloans children?
What my thinking is naming the children after other family members. Margaret
Ann, could be called Polly? What do you know abt Monroe Co. Indiana? I
have seen a tombstone for Mary Eller Shearer b 1813 died 1900, in Collin
Co. Tex. Where her spouse Solomon is buried. There is another Mary Eller
buried off by herself in the same cemetery Mary Eller b 6 May 1782 d 19
dec 1871. Could your Jane be Mary Jane, or Margaret Ann, and called Mary?
