Although I have posted my information to this list before, it has been a
while. I'm going to post again in the hopes that it will ring a bell with
any new members. I have almost become convinced that either they were
dropped from an UFO, or that they plotted to deliberately hide their
ancestry from me.


Taylor Henry Eller (or Henry Taylor Eller, depending on the record you're
looking at at the time) b. 11 May 1866, Wilkes Co.., NC d 27 Jan 1953, State
Hospital, Burke Co.., NC (His prior residence was listed as Mooresville,
Iredell Co., NC).

married 1st (maybe): 2 May 1893, Wilkes Co., NC, Minnie Eller b abt 1870 d
bef 1899

Children: (again, these are maybes) 1a-Alec b abt 1894 d
supposedly in VA in the 1920's

2a-"Ellie" b? d?

NOTE: Minnie and at least one child were supposed to have died
in a flood.

married 2nd: 17 Mar 1899, Ashe Co., NC, Daney Greer McGuire b 18 Jun 1875,
Wilkes Co., NC d 30 Sep
1962, Forsythe Co., NC.

Children: 1b-Samuel Alonzo Eller b 27 Mar 1900, Summit,
Wilkes Co., NC d 16 Mar 1955 (my
grandfather) m. Ila Craig of
Caldwell Co., NC
2b- Ada M. Eller b 6 Nov 1902, Wilkes Co.,
NC d 21 Oct 1937, State Hospital, Burke Co.,
NC m. Grover Fox
3b- Jacob L. Eller b abt 1905 (no other
info.)
4b- Howard T. Eller b abt 1909 (no other
info.)

NOTE: Daney had two daughters from a previous marriage.
Neither her nor Taylor's children from
their previous marriages were listed in the 1910
census as living with them. The only other
family I have for Daney is a possible sister Ellen,
who married ? Church and had at least one
son, Joe. Taylor and Daney were divorced sometime
after the 1910 census, but before
1918.

married 3rd: Maggie Honeycutt (listed as wife at time of admission to State
Hospital) No other information on
this marriage.



In some notes the my Aunt made, Taylor's parents were listed as Lee Taylor
Eller of Scotland and Elizabeth ? of Wilkes County, NC. I think she got
this information from the State Hospital records. There were no birth or
death dates, only that they died sometime in their 80's of "old age".
According to those same records, Taylor had three sisters living in 1953,
names unknown.



This is pretty much what I have on my Eller's. Any leads would be greatly
appreciated.
