Subject: [ELLER] tip for census 2000

Hi list members. I've seen a few posts with this suggestion and I think
this is a great idea when taking into consideration all the things our
government is doing to make genealogy harder and hard with closing
public records, etc. After you fill out the 2000 census, go and make a
copy of it and keep it in a safe place with all your other important
records. After you pass on, and your descendants continue the work you
have started, they will not have to wait until 2072 to see the census
info since they'll have a copy for themselves. Another thing you can do
is suggest all your friends do the same, even if they are not
genealogists. I just wish my ancestors who took a trip to mars during
the census could have done the same thing!:) Good luck with your
research everyone! By the way! Feel free to send me any census info
you have so that it can be posted on the internet for others to see! If
you have info that's not a surname of one of the seven lists I maintain,
that's ok, I'll make a new page or submit it (with your permission) to
another appropriate webpage concerning that surname.
