First, thank you to the ELLER researchers who contacted me with
information and sources of where to search.
Second, I just located this information in some papers that were sent
to me by a member of the Illinois LEMLEY branch. Noted on the pages is
that the research was done by Sandra BALL, Salisbury, NC:

>From Ms. BALL's outline report, Mar 1993:

-Joseph LEMLEY & Margaret had a daughter, CATHERINE, b. 1792, Rowan Co.
Dau. CATHERINE m. CHRISTIAN ELLER on 18 Apr 1810, Rowan Co. He was b.
1790, Rowan Co. [No further info is given on CATHERINE & CHRISTIAN.]

-Henry LEMLEY [bro. to Joseph above] & Catherine had a daughter, SUSANNA
{SUSY}, b. 1791, Rowan Co. Ms. BALL's notation says "listed in court
min. orphan of Henry LEMLEY". SUSANNA m. PETER ELLER on 17 Apr 1809,
Rowan Co. [No further info given on SUSANNA & PETER.]

If the above info is correct, then the ELLERS married into two
branches of the LEMLY/LEMLEY family. Since no sources were cited, it
isn't known how the particular families were joined, but here are new
clues to pursue to prove the connection.
