Ben,
I don't see the names you mentioned on the sheet that I have. They very
well may be on the next page, or even the one before. All I have is the one
page.
As for which line I am from, to tell you the truth, I have no idea. I can't
seem to get any further back than my ggrandfather, Taylor Henry (or Henry
Taylor, depending on which document you're looking at) Eller. According to
hospital records, his parents were Lee Taylor Eller and Elizabeth ? and he
had three sisters living in 1953. I know of one brother, John Franklin
Eller b ? d 6 Feb 1943, probably in Wilkes Co., NC. There was supposed to
have been a newspaper article on his death in "The Daily News of North
Wilkesboro". I have yet to obtain a copy of it. I am hoping that once I
do, it will give a few more names to go on.
On the off chance that someone out there has heard of my line, here is a
brief list of the names that I have:
Lee Taylor Eller (b Scotland(?) d age 80) m. Elizabeth ? (b Wilkes Co., NC
d age 85)
....Henry Taylor Eller b 11 May 1866 Wilkes Co., NC d 27 Jan 1953 Burke Co.,
NC
m. 1st 2 May 1893 Wilkes Co., NC Minnie Eller b abt 1870 d bef 1899
..........Possible children: Alec (supposed to have died in VA, early
1920's), Ellie, and maybe one other. Minnie and at least one child were
supposed to have died in a flood.
m. 2nd 17 Mar 1899 Ashe Co., NC Daney Greer McGuire b 18 Jun 1875
Wilkes Co., NC d 30 Sep 1962 Forsythe Co., NC
..........Samuel Alonzo "Lon" Eller b 27 Mar 1900, Summit, Wilkes Co., NC d
16 Mar 1955 m. 18 Oct 1924 Caldwell Co., NC Ila Mae Craig b Caldwell Co., NC
(these are my grandparents)
..........Ada M. Eller b 6 Nov 1902 Wilkes Co., NC d 21 Oct 1937 m Grover
Fox
..........Jacob L. Eller b abt 1905
..........Howard T. Eller b abt Nov 1909 ( he was 6 months old at time of
1910 census)
m. 3rd Maggie Honeycutt
This is pretty much all that I have. I would appreciate any pointers into
the right direction that anyone can give.
Julie
