Hello everyone! I just wanted to email the lists and ask for some
volunteers to help me with updating the webpage. I would do it myself,
as i have so far, but being a full time college student getting towards
finals, and my grades are not so great this semester (too much
genealogy!), I can't afford to spare the time to do this project.
Basically, I need people (say, 1 from every list and 2 from Black), to
go to passanger ship lists on the internet (start at this page, it's
searchable by surname: http://istg.rootsweb.com/index1.html) and
basically copy and paste the information pertaining to the surname list.
Ex, a volunteer from the Bradford list would get the Bradford info, etc.
If you would like to help me out with this, please reply back to me and
I will get this coordinated. and PLEASE, don't assume someone else will
volunteer so you won't bother...this happens a lot and when it does,
EVERYONE assumes it and then no one volunteers. Also, please remember,
if no one volunteers, this information probably won't get on the list
page until summer....at the earliest. This should only take an hour,
maybe two since your just copying and pasting. Thanks! (Note: CAPS
are for emphasis, not shouting)
