Christian a son of Michael Eller (Öhler) was born in the Algau district
of Bavaria in 1724 [Source: George Michael Eller and Descendants of
His in America by James W. Hook - New Haven Conn: n.d.; pp. 433-35]
[Rowan County Deeds, V-347].

A "Johann Peter Öhler" arrived in Philadelphia in 1730 and may have been
the father of Christian & Jacob Eller of Rowan County, but it seems more
likely that Christian crossed the Atlantic on the "Restauration" in 1747.
