Hello,
This message is in regard to your inquiry of 10 Feb 1998 concerning your
lineage from John Eller and Susannah Kerns and their son Simeon Eller. I
received a letter
from Rose (Eller) Ellis 27 Dec 1996 that explained her lineage, which
incidently
seems to coincide with your own. Her lineage is as follows:
Rose Ellen Eller, Thomas Cleveland Eller Sr, Troy Albert Eller Sr,
Thomas Cleveland Eller, Anderson Eller, Simeon Eller, John Eller, Peter Eller,
George Michael Eller. Each generation from John to Rose was born in Wilkes
County, NC. Peter was born in 1746 in Frederick County, Maryland the oldest
son of George Michael Eller who was probably born in Germany. Peter Eller
died
27 July 1799 in Wilkes County, NC. His wife was Elizabeth Dick who was born
1749 in Frederick County, Maryland. She died 1767 in Wilkes County, NC.
George MIchael Eller was probably born in Germany. He died before 25 August
1778 in Frederick County, Maryland. A book was written about him and his
descendants called, George Michael Eller and Descendants of His in America
by James W. Hook, 1957.

1987 and has about 300 members from across the United States and Germany.

at the Rowan Public Library in Salisbury, NC. Back issues are also available
to members.
The EFA has also printed bound volumes of all significant genealogy published
in The Eller Chronicles on the five major Eller Lines:
1. Christian Eller, 2. George Michael Eller, 3. Henry Eller, 4. Jacob Eller

5. Jacob / Magdelene Eller.
The EFA has also reprinted the hardback book: George Michael Eller and
Descendants of His in America, James W. Hook, 1957 (reprinted 1995)
and made it available to members for $40.
