Hi you guys!

I just joined the group and I DO have a John ELLER.

He is my gggg grandfather, b. in Frederick, MD between 1767 and 1769.
He m. Susannah KERNS 5 Nov 1792 in Rowan Co., NC. He died in Wilkes Co, NC
in 1823. He was buried in the Cleveland Cemetery but re-interred next to
his wife in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

John and Susannah KERNS ELLER had the following children:
Simeon b. 1794 -- Simeon also had a son - John Cleveland ELLER (b. 1822 in NC)
David b. 1796
John Jr. b. 1798 -- another John who m. Elizabeth VANNOY
Rachel b. 1800
Absalom b. 1803
Peter b. 1805
Delilah (Gizzy) b. 1808
Mary (Polly) b. 1810

Several years ago, my husband and I visited the Wilkesboro, NC area. It is
beautiful. We followed the Lewis Fork Creek for a ways. This is where the
Eller farms were. There is an Eller Road in the area. We stopped at the
New Hope Baptist Church Cem. and there are MANY Eller graves there.

Anyone else have John and Susannah?? I am descended from their son Simeon,
who m. Fanny McNiel.
