Yes, you are right, your Eide is a different family. There are many farms Eide in Norway and the same number of Eide surnames. The farm name is the dative case of eid which means 'isthmus'. The surname Hallum might origin in three farms in eastern Norway, Eide most likely in western Norway. You might check the church records for Lunner county at digitalarkivet.no to find information about Alma if she was born in Norway. Good luck.
