I'm trying to find information on my grandfather, George W. Edwards who was born Feb. 14 1886 in Kentucky. Or at least the US Census list his birth place as Kentucky, But I don't know exactly where in Kentucky. He married Martha Lou Woody (who was a Cheeroke Indan from North Carolina)sometime in 1907 or 1908 in Knoxville, Tn. They had 3 children as far as I know. One was a still born son born in Aug. 1909, (my father) Cammie born Oct. 20, 1911, and one girl Katy Evelena born Apr. 26, 1916 ( the US Census has her listed as Lena). My father told me before he died that the W. in his fathers name stood for Washington, but all his grave stone says is George W. Edwards, born Feb. 14 1886,death date is July 6, 1936.
If anyone out there has any info on George W. Edwards I
would be willing to share what information I have.
